高台寺は、京都市東山区にある臨済宗建仁寺派の寺院。山号は鷲峰山。本尊は釈迦如来。寺号は詳しくは高台寿聖禅寺と称する。豊臣秀吉の正室である北政所が秀吉の冥福を祈るため建立した寺院であり、寺号は北政所の落飾後の院号である高台院にちなむ。禅宗寺院であるとともに、秀吉と北政所を祀る霊廟としての性格を持った寺院である。

Hommage au seigneur de la guerre Hideyoshi, l'épouse de se dernier a construit ce temple pour honorer sa mémoire.
Le temple se trouve en haut d'une colline, on y trouve un passage ombragé par les bambous (magnifique) en plus du temple.
Le temple est illuminé le soir pendant le printemps et l'été.
L'entrée est payante 600¥/personne.
Ne convient pas aux fauteuils roulants

There was major construction work being carried out, which detracted from the overall experience. It's beautiful and serene like so many places in Kyoto, but many of them are free to enter. We visited at 2 pm, during Golden Week, and whilst the neighbouring streets are crammed full with people, I guess the 600 yen entry fee puts people off, as it was very quiet here. The bamboo forest is tiny but lovely, and it's easy to get some great photos and feel relaxed. The entry ticket gave us access to a very small and underwhelming museum.

Visited the kodaiji temple 🛕 it was okayish in my opinion as there was some renovation work going on in the temple
There is also a bamboo garden sort of thing located inside this place .recommend to visit there as well.

Lovely walk through temple grounds and small bamboo forest pathway.

Tiene un jardin y algunos edificios bonitos. A 23 de marzo, aun no tiene el arbol típico de su foto en flor. Tranquilo y menos gente. 600 la entrada. Hay una ruta marcada y están pendientes por el recorrido. Tiene bosquecito de bambú que está mucho más tranquilo que Arashiyama para hacerse unas fotos y verlo

人がいっぱい。しかもほとんど外国人観光客。
昔はこんなに人が多かった記憶がないんだが。
まぁ、久しぶりに訪問したけど綺麗でしたわw
チャリで訪問したけど、駐輪代取られるとは思いもしなかったwまぁ、大した金額じゃないから全然ええんやけどw
