Absolutely loved dinner at Stars ’n Cacio! This place is a gem in Kyoto. Some of the best Italian food we’ve had outside of Italy. We preferred family style, ordering nearly one of everything and sharing between the table- you can tell they really care about the ingredients and preparation. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Dogs are allowed and loved- the owner's dog politely perused the restaurant while we were there. Whether you’re a local or visiting Kyoto, this spot is 100% worth checking out! I’ll definitely be back!

The Scallops were pretty rubbery and veal was so-so. However, the rigatoni was excellent and the tiramisu was pretty good.

We were looking for something more upscale than the local fare in Nishiki Market and were pleasantly surprised by this place. It's not pizza and meatballs. They handmake their pasta. There was craft and consideration to every plate. I had the fresh caught fillet, my wife had lobster ravioli. Both were fantastic. The atmosphere (we were in the back in a cozy corner) was intimate and warm. The staff was on their game. Friendly and refined. Overall, great experience.

Best meal in Kyoto! Everything about this place is amazing - the food was incredibly delicious, the restaurant's design is very beautiful, and the service of the staff, owner, and his dog was the best we've had during our trip to Japan, by far! I will absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Kyoto! Get there early so you can get your table! And don't forget to try the mojito and tiramisu--best I've ever had, EVER!

この食事は、街の素晴らしい食事シーンからの新鮮な変化でした。ステーキとナスのパルミジャーナは本当に素晴らしく、一口一口が忘れられないものでした。顧客サービスも同様に印象的で、ラルフは私たちの経験を特別なものにするためにそれを超えて努力してくれました。チーム全体が私たちを心から歓迎してくれ、魅力的で思い出に残る夜を作りました。外に座って、居心地の良い毛布を提供してくれたのは素晴らしい選択でした。素晴らしいスタッフにも感謝します！ -フィリップとジェシカ
